An animated GIF is a series of images that create the impression of movement , much like a mini-movie that repeats on an endless loop. During the Olympics in London this past summer, Buzzfeed took the lowly animated GIF to a new level, using them as a storytelling mechanism as part of their Olympics coverage. What do you think? Welcome to Reddit,
No one wants to have to sift through the entire internet for fun links when they're stoned - so make this your one-stop shop! We're not about posting things that are merely neat or amazing, but instead, things that sort of mess with your mind, warp your reality. Mindfucks and self-inflicted gaslighting.

Giphy , the four-year-old search engine for GIFs, is going to finally start testing monetization. According to a source close to the company, Giphy will begin testing sponsored GIFs within messaging experiences. With Giphy, however, searches are rarely for specific brands but rather based around certain actions, reactions or emotions. Even if it includes branded content, the fact that it comes from a friend makes it worth watching and makes it easier to connect with. Neither my source, nor Giphy, would confirm a timeline for the launch of ad products.
