Merlin trekked through the sunlit forest, inhaling sharply when sweat trickled down his brow and fell into his eyes. He dropped the heavy gear he was carrying and swore softly as he rubbed his stinging eyes. When the pain ceased and his vision cleared he sat down in the grass, resting his back against a tree. He tugged at the chain mail around his neck, breathing heavily. His sweat soaked hair clung to his flushed face as he rummaged through one of the bags, searching for a water skin. Merlin uncapped the water skin and nearly downed the contents in a single, greedy gulp. His thirst had been quenched, but he still felt uncomfortable. The undercoat beneath his chain mail clung to his damp skin. He glanced around the forest, hoping to spot a river or lake near by.

The show is loosely based on the Arthurian legends of the young wizard Merlin and his extremely close relationship with King Arthur , but it differs from traditional versions. The show was influenced by the US drama series Smallville about the early years of Superman, [3] and was produced by independent production company Shine Limited. The show was picked up by the BBC in The series premiered in to mixed reviews but good ratings which improved as the series went on, and proved popular on the BBC's digital catch-up service iPlayer. Merlin is a reimagining of the legend in which the future King Arthur and Merlin are young contemporaries. Arthur's father Uther Pendragon has banned magic in Camelot. Its use is punishable by death, forcing Merlin to keep his magical powers secret from everyone in Camelot other than his mentor Gaius. Arthur grows from a young, self-absorbed boy to the mighty king in the legends, while Merlin develops into his colossal role in creating the powerful Camelot.
No copyright infringement intended. Note: There be spoilers for Series 4 in general, but not to any specific plot point, except maybe for 4x05 because I couldn't not include Queen Annis The Naked King 'This is not funny, Merlin,' Arthur said in a very affronted and exasperated voice. Well, surely, no, it wasn't funny when you were the King of Camelot and something like this happened to you. But from an outsider point of view…Arthur had to admit it was at least worthy of a few giggles. The first time it happened, Merlin almost didn't notice it. He was so used to Arthur gallivanting around in his room half-naked, that when the tunic Arthur had just put on was suddenly off again, Merlin just picked it up and dressed Arthur again, ignoring the dumbstruck look on his King's face. It was only when he was alone in the armoury polishing Arthur's chainmail, and not-at-all thinking how it fit Arthur's back muscles so well, that Merlin realised the oddity of what had occurred that morning. Merlin shrugged it off as a symptom of too-much-naked-chest exposure on his part and didn't think twice about it.
We have been together for almost 6 years, so I'm well aware of what I got into, but it can still be tough. At what age do you baptize. If it were me, I would be flattered they had that much time to spend on me. Ask her out on dates.
