Regulation of the West Java educational calendar in the new normal period
Currently, the world is experiencing a crisis due to the spread of a dangerous virus that has led to a slight change in the regulation of the West Java educational calendar . The reason for this is that after the government banned residents from leaving home so as not to be affected by the virus, learning activities had to continue to operate during this pandemic period is still considered dangerous.
Therefore, changes in the learning system are determined by the Bureau of Education and this applies to all educational institutions and institutions in Indonesia. From what was originally face-to-face, students and teachers now need to start learning online using an app in order to continue learning even if they have to force both parties to be able to use gadgets.
Of course, this was initially welcomed by parents as learning can continue in the midst of this difficult time. For Java and its surroundings, local governments must comply with regulations established by the Bureau of Education. With this decision, the west Java education calendar has certainly also undergone changes.
If you look deeper, the changes in the regulations are getting longer and longer for students to get bored because the tasks given make it passive and difficult to get learning materials according to the program. Students only get material, but even then, it lasts for a short time without a precise explanation, as online activities can’t always be effective in providing learning.
The Office of Education and the government are working to support learning
Because online activities were considered difficult to carry out, the government and West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil and several special staff members eventually tried to provide several assistance programs to support the learning process. But you relax because the program does not affect the West Java educational calendar so that learning activities can continue to be carried out.
Assistance programs to support education in the West Java region include monthly student contributions (IBPD), one-stop integrated schools, west java masagi, economically disadvantaged families (KETM), Universal Assistance for Secondary Education (BPMU) as well as the revitalization of vocational high schools and several scholarships from the West Java Education Bureau.
Of course, this is good news because government activities want to support learning activities during the infectious virus pandemic. But unfortunately, the program is only valid during the Period of the West Java Educational Calendar from the 2020/2021 period to the beginning of the semester, so the program ended in December 2020 yesterday.
But you don’t worry, even if there is no relief fund in 2021, you still get help from the government, especially the West Java Regional Government, which is trying to reduce the cost of tuition. In addition, the government also continues to implement the KIP and Dana Bos programs to support the learning process in the new current normal period.
Adjusting learning activities for the West Java educational calendar
Currently, the learning activities of all educational agencies and institutions still use online methods, so learning activities still need to be carried out. Although many parents are unhappy, but of course, this is one of the concerns of the government so that their people are safe and do not avoid attacks of infectious diseases.
In addition, after learning activities began to use online methods, many students have currently been saved from the attack of infectious viruses. Since the beginning of the second semester of the West Java educational calendar on January 11, 2021 yesterday, many students have begun to get used to online learning methods so that past problems have been slightly solved.
Later, students will continue to use this method of learning until the situation is completely safe and it is certain that there is no risk of contagion when they begin to meet face-to-face. Despite this, the Office of Education is still trying to modify the educational curriculum to be more suitable for e-learning methods that were not suitable at first because they were face-to-face.
So far, various new tasks have started to be given, such as making videos or gymnastics practices so that students can continue to move actively even if they use online learning methods. Over time, the second semester of the West Java educational calendar will be completed on June 25, 2021, with the method of distributing report cards like the previous semester.
Government calls for cooperation from all parties to support learning
With the new current normal period, learning activities have become more oriented and focused on creating greater learning comfort for everyone involved. Whether parents, teachers or students, the Bureau of Education and the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbud) continue to strive to provide the best for their younger generation.
Even over time, the e-learning system began to be accepted by all circles of society. From kindergarten to higher education conference activities, the online system has been used as the most effective learning method to maintain everyone’s health, whether because of the attack of dangerous viruses or other problems.
In addition, there are currently several green zones in West Java that allow students to go to school. But it should still be noted that all must follow the applicable protocols so that some problems do not occur. West Java’s education calendar will also take several steps by following the local government somewhat able to adjust the situation.
The green zone in the sense of being one of the areas with a low level of spread of the virus so that it is safe for some time for the community. However, the West Java Regional Government still strictly urges the public to follow the applicable rules. If this is not the case, there are sanctions for sanctions in case of non-compliance with the applicable rules.
Usefulness of e-learning activities for teachers and students
As we know, online learning is the most effective method at the moment in order to avoid infectious viral diseases. In addition to the normal learning activities that follow the West Java educational calendar, teachers also need to adapt to the New Teaching Materials of the Office of Education so that they can be more relaxed when teaching.
As this is new for most people in Indonesia, of course, the first few days will be very difficult to get used to due to the lack of experience in some areas. However, over time, the West Java Regional Government believes that all working staff and manpower will be able to get through this difficult time together.
The West Java education calendar is indeed a reference for teachers and teachers to give the best of themselves in a predetermined period of time. Of course, this will continue to be government-driven so that the Indonesian people can get used to the new system and learning models to cope with the new normal period.
As a teacher, you can continue to do your best to help students continue to grow in the midst of this very bad condition. Do not lose morale and keep trying to continue so that you can host a good day in the future. Education will always be a priority in order to meet the demands of the younger generation.
The government will also continue to try to make the best efforts of the bos and KIP funds so that every child can enjoy better learning. Not only West Java, but all the provinces of Indonesia have also experienced the same thing and continue to fight. Guided by West Java’s education calendar, we can continue to move forward to improve the achievements of the younger generation.
